About Dennis Maurice Dumpson
Dennis Maurice Dumpson is an executive leader, strategist, and race scholar with over twenty years of experience driving systemic equity across the public, private, and social impact sectors. As the founder and CEO of #InvestBLK, he exclusively co-creates strategies, policy developments, external initiatives, and audits the integration of AI and technology with organizations led by Black, Brown, and Indigenous leaders or supporting predominantly Black, Brown, and Indigenous people. Most recently he was the Chief External Affairs Officer of Let’s Get Ready, the nation’s leading student-to-student college coaching organization. Throughout his career, Dennis has secured and directed over $125 million in funding, translating these resources into concrete outcomes impacting more than 100,000 lives nationwide.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the first degree granting HBCU in the nation Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, an MBA in Global Finance from Saint Joseph’s University with corporate residency in Santiago, Chile and São Paulo, Brazil South America. He is currently completing his doctorate in Ethics in AI and Technology Leadership where he is refining the Mud Code leadership framework he developed. The Mud Code translates the leadership of the Black Radical Tradition across history into actionable solutions for contemporary challenges for leaders. An acclaimed author of Black Washed, he will release two new books ALOOSE: Freeing the Collective Black Body from Economic Lynching and Radical Sensitivity: Awareness Practices for Building Humane Communities. He has been named one of the Most Influential Philadelphians by The Philadelphia Tribune and lauded for his contributions to the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors.
