About Bender Stevens (She/Her)
Nearly a decade ago I decided to harness what I’d learned as a market researcher, policy analyst, and corporate executive to help mission-driven organizations tackle complex problems and translate their strategic vision into sustainability and growth. I established The BenderStone Group to provide streamlined business strategy, executive coaching, and advisory services to nonprofits and new business ventures. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Public Policy Analysis, both from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to launching my consulting practice, I was a pharmaceutical industry executive at Merck, a planning director at Diversified Health Services, and a policy analyst at ECRI. I also serve in leadership and volunteer roles in nonprofit and community organizations committed to civic engagement, patient advocacy, human services, and the arts.
