Robin Mohr, founder of Robin Mohr & Associates, LLC, brings a convergent approach to strategy, fundraising, and organizational development. She specializes in adaptive strategy, large and small fundraising plans, and support for mergers and collaborations.
Over the years, Robin has held nearly every seat at the table — executive director, board chair, development director, grantmaking program officer, and administrative assistant. Each role gave her a different lens for understanding how people navigate organizations from where they stand, and what they need to move forward together. She helps clients to integrate multiple perspectives, and use innovative tools and techniques from the nonprofit, academic, and for-profit sectors.
She served as a Quaker diplomat for the Friends World Committee for Consultation, Section of the Americas from 2011-2024. She was known there for pioneering program design, strategic planning, and financial clarity, stability, and growth. At the end of her tenure, she raised $2.4 million (196% of goal) for the Becoming the Quakers the World Needs Campaign.
Before FWCC, she worked for the California Child Care Resource & Referral Network, the Lasallian Education Fund, and the American Red Cross Bay Area. At the St. Boniface Restoration Project in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco, she managed the successful completion of a $13 million campaign for the seismic retrofitting and rehabilitation of the church, friary, and community center, including a theater, a homeless shelter, and a new middle school. Her successful grant proposals have ranged from under $5,000 to over $1 million.
Educated at Georgetown and Wharton in diplomacy and strategy, she speaks English and Spanish fluently, and has worked with organizations on five continents, primarily in the Americas. A member of Green Street Friends Meeting in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Robin currently serves on the board of Greene Street Friends School. She has been a parent and/or volunteer at all levels of schools, from cooperative nursery school to Ivy League university. Outside of work, she is a swimmer and an avid reader of speculative fiction, as well as a writer, minister and mother.
