Board Assessment

Great boards regularly assess themselves to determine how well they are meeting their core responsibilities and what they should focus on next in order to build the board their organization needs for the future.  The Nonprofit Center’s Board Assessment is a quick, low-cost way to identify your board’s current strengths and areas for growth — and turn this knowledge into action.

Once you complete payment and provide a primary contact email address, The Nonprofit Center will reach out to you within 2 weeks to provide a dedicated anonymous survey link that you can send to your board members, and a secure link to upload board documents for our review.  Please note, we recommend that you aim for 80 to 100% board member survey participation so that the analysis and recommendations are as robust as possible.  After you have received your survey responses, reach back out to our analysis team and we will send a summary of survey results and recommended next steps for your board to consider.  You will receive these results and recommendations by email and have the option to set up a follow-up virtual call to ask questions and get advice as you plan your next steps.
